Hanuman pooja on Hanuman Jayanti must always start with first remembering Lord Ganesha and then showing earthen lamp and dhoop to Lord Ganesha and then Lord Hanuman followed by offering flowers, sacred water and Gud-chana. Now offer tusli leaves and apply Chandan tilk on Hanuman ji’s forehead along with rice. Chant Om Ham Hanumate namah for at least 108 times followed by visarjan as per puja vidhi.
